A SUFFERING WORSE THAN DEATH
The most painful thing
in the world is to see
life slowly seep out
through an old man
A suffering that is supposed to last a few minutes
Is extended to many years
under the guise of modern science
knowing very well
that the man in front of you
Is barely alive
What is the point of such a life
I ask myself
where a person is nothing more
than a burden on mankind
who only is remembered by what he did in the past
What is the point of such a life
where there is neither liberty
nor the dignity
that is given to every man
There is today
a generation of old men and women
who are nothing more than zombies
by pills popped in their mouth everyday
by an attendent
who couldn't care less
for the live of this man
Why is it today
that people surrounding this zombie
will be more happy than sad
when the long delayed death comes to take this man
