KNOWLEDGE IS FREE AND FOR ALL

 

Around every corner

knowledge is being distributed

some academic

some not very academic

and some that is just plain gossip

 

where at one time

there was only one scientific journal in circulation

today there are hundreds

the journals knowledge being further complemented

by the thousands of research papers

being published every day

 

No longer is a students

scientific temperament

limited to the 15 chapters in his textbook

no longer are they restricted  to the

sacred paper of their textbook

 

Knowledge has long escaped

the limitation of paper

and expanded and conquered

the limitless expanses of the

realm of internet

 

No longer is knowledge

restricted to those few lucky ones

who happened to be born

in the right sex

at the right time

and most importantly

in the right family

 

Knowledge is now universal,

available to all

it releases people from their ignorance

and grants them swaraj in mind and body

 

Never again

shall knowledge

ever be restricted to human discrimination

for knowledge is free and for all

WHEN PEN IS PUT TO PAPER

 

 

When pen is put to paper

the mind meets the heart to

to form a consensus on paper

 

It is time

that thoughts become so powerful

that they must be put

through the purifying test of paper

but also at the same time they become

a prisoner to the four corners

of the page

 

This thought then if great enough

revolutionary enough into

make their writers into legends

and revolutionaries unto themselves

 

This humble paper

is after all

for those

who want to break the barriers

think out of the box

and change the rules of

the game

 

This humble paper

is for all those

who wish to achieve perfection

Through continuous and relentless

hardwork

 

In all its might

this simple piece of paper

Is just sometimes the most powerful speaker

the most powerful communication

in a room full of silence

 

 



Discontent and me

DISCONTENT AND ME

 

I am full of discontent

never being content with

what I have

for a long period of time

 

 

My discontent is not present for
the latest phones. gadgets and toys

It forments itself in
my ambitious nature
it is over here where I lust
for more
it is over here
where my heart is just simply
never satisfied

My ambition
knowns no bounds
if I have got 80
I want 90
if I have got 90
I lust for 100

I don't know why
why?
That I lust so much for near perfection

Though I know one thing
I never aim for perfection
for I fear the definition
of that word is changing
all the time for me
Each new success
gives a new meaning
to this word

If achieving x was okay yesterday
It is no longer permissible
for me to achieve that today

But I fear this greed
is pushing me over the edge
in uncharted boundaries
and areas that I have not known existed
until now

weather this is good or bad
well
only time will tell
